My name is Panha Sann, RecovRentals was inspired by a deeply personal experience. Summer 2024, when my mentor underwent surgery for a retina detachment at Ivey Eye Institute, we faced the daunting task of finding the right equipment to support his recovery. It wasn’t just about comfort; it was about cleanliness and hygiene, browsing for super-clean recovery equipment became crucial.
These tools are personal. They’re things people stay on, sleep on, and sit on for 7 to 10 days at a time, and it’s essential that they are thoroughly clean and sanitized.
However, finding rental services that offered this level of cleanliness and reliability was more challenging than we anticipated. That’s when we saw an opportunity to make a difference for others in similar situations.
Since the summer of 2024, as I have been running this business, I’ve had the privilege of serving many vitrectomy patients who require face-down positioning during their recovery. This experience has given me valuable insight into their unique needs and challenges, allowing me to better understand the physical and emotional demands they face during this critical time. The feedback I’ve received has been invaluable, providing me with opportunities to learn and grow. It has also driven me to refine and enhance the services I offer, ensuring that future clients receive even better care and support.
Our first priority has always been to provide the cleanest, most hygienic equipment for facedown recovery. But as we served more patients, we realized that true comfort comes from flexibility being able to adjust your position and move your body while maintaining the required facedown posture.
Traditional facedown chairs and beds often offer only a static position, which can quickly become uncomfortable. We saw this gap and committed to investing in the latest generation of professional equipment top-of-the-line chairs with adjustable angles, removable leg supports, and armrests that move up and down ,all designed to give you more options to move your body around comfortably during the next 3–7 days of recovery.
